Hi everyone hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend!! We've been busy bees here at Reflex on Sat we spent the day with the fabulous John and Lee from Shiatsu Health who taught us some wonderfully relaxing Shiatsu techniques. Shiatsu is a Japanese hands on healing art that is similar to acupressure and can help a wide variety of conditions. We also did some Qi gong which is similar to Tai Chi and involves very slow rhythmic movements designed to balance and improve the bodies natural energy flow. It was a great day and was so nice to be on the receiving end of a massage treatment for a change :) We can't wait to incorporate some of what we learnt and share it with you all. On Sunday we went to the Belfast Mela wow what a great day that was the sun was shining and Belfast's Botanic gardens were packed with people all out to see the performers and stalls from all around the world. we saw some great bands and dancers, the food was amazing and there was an array of colourful creative stalls to shop at. We paid a visit to the Wellbeing tent and were thrilled to find holistic treatments galore. We watched some yoga being done outside (alas we were a little sore from the previous days training to join in) we did take part n a lovely meditation session which aimed to clear blockages and open up creative energies it was a brilliant day and we can't wait to go back next year, definitely recommend it to all. what did you guys get up to over the weekend we'd love to hear from you all. Bye for now Vicki x
